Analytical Lexicon of the Syriac New Testament

The Analytical Lexicon of the Syriac New Testament : Based on the SEDRA 3 Database of George Anton Kiraz provides morphological information and English glosses for three versions of the Syriac New Testament: the Peshitta, Codex Curetonianus and Codex Sinaiticus. Entries are organized alphabetically, but two indices—one listing all lexical forms by their root, and the other listing all inflected forms by their lexical form—allow access to the information in multiple ways. The Analytical in the title refers to the inclusion of entries matching inflected forms that appear in the NT rather than just dictionary or lexical forms, allowing Libronix users to click on a Syriac word anywhere in their library to perform a look-up in the lexicon, rather than relying on the presence of lemma (lexical form) tags for navigation.
