What is Pre-Pub?

Have a say in the next generation of Logos resources!

Our Pre-Publication program (also known as Pre-Pub) is one of the ways new products get into Logos. Pre-Pub uses a crowdfunding model to give you a say about what resources should be brought into the Logos format. Just place a Pre-Pub order for any of the products listed, and you’ll be pledging money towards a future purchase of those products.



How it works

  1. Take a look at our available Pre-Pub products and indicate which ones you want Logos to produce by placing a Pre-Pub order. Products with an orange status bar that reads “Gathering interest” are still in need of more orders to ensure they get produced.
  2. Continue to check back for new products—we post them often! As products gain popularity, the status bar will change to yellow and read “Almost funded.”
  3. When enough people signify interest in a product by placing a Pre-Pub order, the product will be sent off for production. At this time, the status bar will change to green and read “In production.” The product has now officially begun its journey to become a live product.
  4. When the product has been produced and is ready to ship, the green status bar will gain an approximate ship date, letting you know when you can expect to receive the final product.
  5. When the product ships, it will be immediately available for download, and your card will be charged for the specially discounted Pre-Pub price. If your card declines, you have up to 30 days to call us at 888-270-7536 in order to get the Pre-Pub price. Anyone who chooses to wait and buy it when it’s live will have to pay the full price. So don’t miss out!

  6. All Pre-Pub orders have a 6-month lowest-price guarantee. If we offer a book for less than its Pre-Pub price within 6 months of shipping, just contact us and we will give you the difference in Logos credit.

  7. It’s risk-free. If you change your mind, you can easily cancel your Pre-Pub order at any time—up to 30 days after it ships. Your card will not be charged until the product is fully produced and shipped, and we will give you plenty of notice in case you decide to opt out.

Frequently asked questions

Q. When will my credit card be charged?

  • Your credit card won’t be charged until the product is completed and ships, and we'll send you a reminder email ahead of time. If you decide you don’t want the product anymore, you can cancel your Pre-Pub order at any time.

Q. Why is it taking so long?

  • The product won’t go into production until there are enough Pre-Pub orders to cover costs. Once this benchmark is met, we start coding the product to make it into a Logos resource. This may take some time, but we’ll notify you as soon as it’s ready for download.

Q. What if I change my mind?

  • Not a problem—you can cancel your Pre-Pub order at any time.
