Learn from Dr. Randall Buth
Dr. Randall Buth is a leading expert in Hebrew and Aramaic and is the head of the Biblical Language Center in Israel. He has dedicated his life to studying God’s Word and his pursuit to understand Scripture’s original context led him to the Holy Land for biblical-language training.
Since then, Dr. Buth has worked with the Wycliffe Bible Translators, as well as the United Bible Societies as a Bible translator and consultant, but Dr. Buth’s quest doesn’t end there. More recently, he’s become a pioneer in developing curriculum and methodologies for teaching biblical languages—and we were blessed to work with him on this project. It was his knowledge and expertise that helped bring this project together.
More than just a book
The Hebrew Audio Pronunciations resource is more than an MP3 file, more than the Hebrew alphabet, and more than vocabulary. This resource also includes a thorough description of accents, symbols, and characters in the Hebrew language and provides the audio sounds in isolation for each one.
This resource is integrated into Logos 5, and you’ll find it within your interlinears and Hebrew Bibles. Simply right click, select the lemma in the context menu, and pronounce—you’ll hear the Hebrew pronunciation as spoken by Dr. Buth.
This powerful audio tool is featured in your Exegetical Guide under the word-by-word section, your Bible Word Study tool in the lemma section, and in the show-information panel next to the Hebrew lemma indicated by the small speaker icon.
Study Hebrew pronunciation as a whole by selecting Pronunciation from the tools menu, then click Hebrew Pronunciations (Buth) from the drop down menu. There the entire Hebrew alphabet, accents and symbols are further defined.
Intricately tagged throughout your Logos 5 library, Hebrew Audio Pronunciations will take your language studies even further.
