A Third Way in the Print versus Digital Battle

In a recent blog post, Logos Pro Mark Ward took a both-and approach to the print vs. digital argument, holding that some resources are designed for a digital medium and others work better as a physical book you can hold in your hands. We agree, but we’d like to add a third option: print and digital.

Solid content, beautifully designed

We take pride in the care and attention needed to create beautiful, high-quality books. And people have noticed. Just the other day, in his review of Geerhardus Vos’ Reformed Dogmatics, Joey Parker took an entire paragraph to sing the praises of the print edition of this title.

The editing of this book is simply outstanding. The dust jacket is very nicely designed and looks good on a bookshelf. The book itself has a high quality binding on it. The text itself is very crisp and clear. I read a lot and have come to notice that not all paper and ink are alike and the quality of the print in this book makes it very easy on the eyes during extended reading. Overall, I am very pleased with this work and am thankful for the publishers, editors, and translation work. This is an excellent resource for the church and I highly recommend it.

This marriage of solid, biblical content with aesthetically pleasing design is in our roots.
