Logos Bible Software has been recognized as one of 2014’s Best Christian Workplaces by the Best Christian Workplaces Institute!
The BCWI surveyed over 135,000 employees from 575 organizations across the globe, including Christian ministries, schools, publishers, and radio stations. The award is based on a 50-question survey that covers job satisfaction, commitment, personal growth, pay, and benefits.
We first won this award back in 2006, when we had around 100 employees. Now we have close to 400. Despite that increase, our work environment still reflects the same core commitments: Honor God. Love others.
Bob Pritchett, Logos president and CEO, said:
“We’ve worked hard to create a great workplace—a place where our employees can learn, grow, and create a product that helps people all over the world study the Bible.
What makes this award so special is that it’s a reflection of our employees’ feedback. It is based on responses from the people who know Logos best, and that’s very rewarding.”
We’ve recently hit a number of other incredible milestones. Just a few weeks ago, we reached 40,000 resources available in the Logos or Vyrso formats. Earlier this year, we hit 100,000 forum members and half a million posts, and next month, we plan to expand our team into a fourth building in downtown Bellingham, WA.
Despite such huge growth, some things still remain the same: Bob Pritchett still meets and interviews every new employee, and Dan Pritchett, vice president, still takes new hires out to lunch to get to know them better. On their first day, every employee is introduced to our values.
