Top Highlights

“He is powerful. But, He is a Person. If we simply think of Him as a power, then He becomes someone whom we try to get hold of and use. But because He is a Person, He is seeking to get hold of us and use us to bring glory to Christ.” (Page 30)

“Prayer is composed of praise, thanksgiving, petition, confession and intercession” (Page 97)

“Our filling is dependent on our capacity and each person has a different level of capacity” (Page 62)

“The difference between tongues on that occasion and tongues in the personal use is that Paul is dealing in that passage with the gifts of the Spirit that relate to the common good.” (Page 96)
