Transmitting the Spirit in Missions: The History and Growth of the Church of Pentecost discourses on how Pentecostalism in general has been involved in the current growth, mission, and changing face of global Christianity. Amos Jimmy Markin is an apostle of the Church of Pentecost and
its evangelism director. Markin is a lecturer at the Pentecost
Theological Seminary and a regular resource person at conventions
and conferences in his native country, Ghana, and abroad. His
passion in ministry includes intercessory prayer, evangelism,
discipleship, and leadership empowerment. He takes delight in
preaching the gospel of Jesus.
Markin has been in the service of the Lord Jesus as a minister of
the Church of Pentecost since 1991. His twenty-seven-year
ministerial journey has taken him to many communities across Ghana
and many countries around the globe. He currently lives in Accra,
Ghana, and is married to Mrs. Mavis Markin, with whom they are
blessed with four biological children: Loretta, Jeshurun, Coretta,
and John Kingsley.
