About Paul S. Meitner

Pastor Paul Meitner was installed as the associate pastor of St. Paul’s in 2011. He was born in New Ulm, MN, but spent much of his youth in the Bay area of California. Pastor Meitner earned an A.A. from Bethany Lutheran College in Mankato, MN, and a B.A from Martin Luther College, graduating both with honors. Recently, he finished a Master of Sacred Theology degree (STM) with an emphasis in Church History from Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary.

After his graduation from Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in 2002, he served a congregation in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula for 9 years. Pastor Meitner was excited to return to California and is thrilled to be part of the ministry team at St. Paul’s. He takes great joy in bringing the Word and Sacrament to the members of St. Paul’s and in reaching out to those who have yet to find a church home. Pastor Meitner is married with three daughters.
