Unfortunately, this is the fourth edition from 1995, not the revised edition nor the later editions from '97, 2004, or 2011. That means that a majority of 4QMMT is missing, sections of the Temple Scroll are missing, and much of the apocryphon (where is Jubilees? Tobit?). To make things worse, this resource isn't digitally tagged, probably because Vermes (even in the 2011 edition) doesn't give accurate or useful citation information for passages in the scrolls, making linking the resource a nightmare. Either way, this resource will not be very useful to you for Dead Sea Scrolls research.

Thank you for your review! 'Reviews' is the best item to check after locating the object of your search. You have identified one of the weakest links in the Logos program! I'm puzzled by the high rating you give. Logos's failure to coordinate that resource makes it worthless IMHO.

This resource is fantastic, but the Logos implementation needs work. Most of the DSS links in my Logos library do not work with this resource, pointing instead to the Wise, Abegg, & Cook translation of the scrolls. In addition, the sections/verses in this resource are not shared with the Wise version, so using the "Parallel Resources" feature does not work. This really interrupts workflow in the DSS. So I'm reading a resource and see a link to CD 3.19. The link takes me to the Wise translation. But I want to see what Vermes says about it. Does Vermes even include CD in his work? I have no way of knowing until I manually open up Vermes and search through the table of contents. Then I have to scroll to the pertinent passage. In short, until Logos updates the verse/column links in Vermes, you will end up using Vermes like you use a paper book (no hyperlinks, passage hunting), instead of a proper Logos resource.
