Overview

The Book of Common Prayer (1979) Sunday Lectionary contains the three-year cycle of readings for the celebration of the Eucharist given in the Episcopal Church's Book of Common Prayer of 1979.

This lectionary is similar to other three-year lectionaries derived from the modern Roman Lectionary and was used until 2007, when the Episcopal Church officially adopted the Revised Common Lectionary. It contains readings for the Eucharistic liturgy for all Sundays and major feasts of the calendar of the Episcopal Church.

Organized by calendar date, the Logos edition of the Book of Common Prayer (1979) Sunday Lectionary allows you to easily find the readings of the week and read them in your preferred translation.
