We’ve Been Innovating Since the Beginning

After 30+ years, we’re as focused as ever on equipping you to study God’s Word.

"One of the great things about the next version of Logos is that we're using AI the right way. It's an incredible tool to help us to search, distill, and synthesize. Pastors didn’t go into it to be administrators or to move paperwork around. Everything we can do to free them up to meditate and preach the Word and to spend time with the congregation is a win."

—Bob Pritchett, Founder

We’re Building for Future Impact

From new AI integrations to changing the way you buy Logos and introducing new leadership, we’re growing for you, with you.

“We create technology that equips. So we are nothing if we cannot extend the impact of pastors, seminaries, divinity schools, colleges, churches … We are nothing unless we serve those individuals well and we extend the impact that they make.”

—Bill McCarthy, CEO

From Data to Discernment: Why AI Can’t Replace Cultivating of Wisdom

For Christians, the question is not whether we will use AI going forward, but how we should use it. Crucial to this question is clarity on what AI is and what it isn’t; what AI can do well (in many cases better than humans) and what AI can’t do well (what remains the unique domain of humanity).

FAQ

01

What are the Logos subscriptions?

The next major version of Logos will launch this fall as a subscription. The three subscription tiers are designed to fit the main ways people use Logos: small group prep (Logos Premium), sermon prep (Logos Pro), and academic and original language study (Logos Max). Our hope is to give users exactly what they need—no more, no less. We want users to feel like their Logos subscription exactly fits their needs. These subscriptions will replace Preaching Suite, Faithlife Connect, and other Logos feature sets. Libraries will still be available for purchase separately (e.g., Gold, Silver, Bronze, etc.). New Libraries will only be available to Logos subscribers, however Legacy Libraries will be available to everyone.

02

Why is Logos moving to a subscription?

The world is changing fast, and customers have told us that they don’t want to have to wait two years to get new and improved features that would help them get deeper insights in less time. As a result, Logos must evolve to enable truth seeking at the same pace as the world we live in. With a subscription, you’ll get new features and improvements as soon as they’re ready—no more waiting for two years. We’ll also be able to respond to your needs faster, turning good features into great ones and releasing new capabilities created to meet specific needs. Plus, we can include advanced AI and cloud-backed features that require ongoing support and help make Logos both easier to use and more powerful so that you can focus on understanding and communicating Scripture. You’ll also enjoy valuable perks and lower upfront costs, making it easier to try Logos without a big commitment.

03

Will I lose my features, books, or investment in Logos?

No, your investment in Logos is safe, and you’ll always be able to access your content in Logos for free. You aren’t required to subscribe to keep your access to content or features you already own. The subscription is for anyone who wants access to the latest version of Logos which will get new features or improvements roughly every six weeks. If you’ve already purchased Logos packages or feature sets, those are yours to keep—you won’t lose them. You’ll continue to be able to use the features you’ve paid for, regardless of whether you subscribe to the latest version.

04

Can I cancel at any time?

Yes. Just visit https://www.logos.com/account/subscriptions

05

Will I be forced to subscribe to Logos in the future? What about all the books I’ve already bought?

We are 100% committed to ensuring you can always access all of the books you’ve purchased. No one will be forced to subscribe to Logos to retain access to their existing content.

06

Will the free version of Logos continue to be available?

Yes, it will still be available. We want Logos to continue to be the most accessible and powerful place for believers to study the Word. You can see details of the current free edition here.

07

If I buy new books or libraries while I’m subscribed and then unsubscribe, will I lose them?

No. Books or libraries you buy are yours forever. If you unsubscribe, you would only lose book access that was included in the subscription.
