Steven Chase, PhD was born in the Pacific Northwest United States. His most recent book is a spiritual and theological commentary on the book of Job. Steven has taught spirituality and historical theology for many years and has served as a spiritual director since 1992. Chase’s books focus on spirituality, nature, psychology, spiritual practice, contemplation, meditation, prayer, and mysticism. He has served as President of the Society for the Study of Christian Spirituality.
