Digital Logos Edition
Steven J. Cole is the teaching pastor at Flagstaff Christian Fellowship in Arizona and is a graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary. Cole’s commentary collection includes insights from over 1,100 sermons preached between 1992-2017. His writings demonstrate conservative, in-depth exposition, and pastoral insights with an emphasis on application. Cole is a firm advocate of verse-by-verse expository preaching, and the result is that his sermon series functions much like verse-by-verse commentaries, perfect for pastors seeking to bridge the gap between the text and audience.
To facilitate using this material as a Bible commentary, every sermon has been tagged with Bible milestones allowing seamless integration with your other Logos commentaries. Finally, in virtually every sermon you will find excellent illustrations (including unique illustrations from Reader’s Digest, Our Daily Bread, etc.), quotes from writers like Charles Spurgeon, John Calvin, D. Martyn Lloyd-Jones, Jonathan Edwards, etc., a concluding summary and lastly a set of practical application questions. In short, this is a resource that is guaranteed to enhance your Bible study personal devotions, leading a Bible class, or preaching a sermon series.
Steven J. Cole has been the pastor of Flagstaff Christian Fellowship since May of 1992. He graduated from Dallas Theological Seminary (Th.M. in Bible exposition) and California State University, Long Beach (B.A., philosophy.)
