Overview

The Lectio Divina Workflow uses the traditional practice of lectio divina (Latin for “divine reading” or “sacred reading”). It combines Bible reading with meditation and prayer to promote communion with God and to increase the knowledge of the Bible. In lectio divina, we pay special attention to words, phrases, or verses in Scripture that God brings to our hearts and minds as especially important for our own spiritual life and growth, using God’s own words to speak to us. Many have used this ancient spiritual practice to “feast on the word” and experience God’s presence in Scripture more deeply.

This approach works well when coupled with a systematic reading plan that directs you to a brief daily passage for reading and reflection, such as a lectionary or a devotional with a Bible reading plan. In the words of John of the Cross, “Seek in reading and you will find in meditation; knock in prayer and it will be opened to you in contemplation.”

As you work your way through the steps, record your meditations and thoughts about your passage. You can even share your experience with others when you are finished.

    Hi question, How can I have axes to Lectio Divina Workflow, if before you makeit part of renting plan, I was using it. If you people said we not going to have problema for customer before the plan of N renting plan. So what can I do as cliente. please I need answer, help, support.

    Sorry, we couldn't find that resource. EN serio es real? a que están tratando de revender siertos recursos? a traves de rentas o suscripciones. cuando ya las hemos usado cuando actualizamos pagando niveles del logos o verbum, que sabemos ya tengo por ejemplo la ultima, de Verbum 10.
