About Ruth A. Meyers

Ruth A. Meyers is dean of academic affairs and Hodges-Haynes Professor of Liturgics at the Church Divinity School of the Pacific. She earned her MDiv from Seabury-Western Theological Seminary and her MA and PhD in liturgical studies from the University of Notre Dame. She chairs the Episcopal Church Standing Commission on Liturgy and Music. Meyers is the editor of Baptism and Ministry, How Shall We Pray? Expanding Or Language about God, and The Prayer Book for the Twenty-first Century.
