Overview

Failure in counseling hurts. Hopes are dashed, people become discouraged, and problems may become all the more complicated. It hurts the counselee, the counselor, the church, and everyone who is closely related to the situation. It is important, therefore, to know how to detect errors, to know what to do to recoup from failure, and to learn how to avoid failure in the future.

It is my hope that this volume will reach many at the point where, because of failure, they are ready to quit, and that it will not only instruct them about what to do instead, but will also encourage them to not give up.
