Overview

The Greek New Testament Sentence Diagrams by Randy Leedy provide a comprehensive set of sentence diagrams for the entire Greek New Testament, based on the text of the SBLGNT. Sentence diagramming is a practical and effective means of visualizing the structure of individual clauses and sentences. They make it possible to easily see grammatical relationships between the individual words and phrases, as an aid to understanding how they function in context. These diagrams are especially beneficial for students and pastors studying complex and lengthy sentences in the Greek New Testament—of which there are plenty!

Love the work that Randy has done here but wish his diagrams were built into the product so that the English translations could be superimposed on top of his diagrams programmatically. Regardless, this resource is part of my daily study workflow.

I have the SBL edition as part of my logos package but apparently need to upgrade in order to be able to purchase the SBL verse diagrams. It says it is "not available." However, I can purchase the NA28 diagrams, even though I don't own the NA28 in Logos. Doesn't really make sense does it? If I want to be able to make full use of either of these diagram packages I either have to spend $300 to upgrade or purchase the NA28 for $100 and then spend another $50 for the diagrams. Logos, please consider making the SBL diagrams available for those of us who already have the SBL edition (and currently use it in their seminary studies.) I am ready to spend my money to purchase the SBL diagrams whenever you are ready to sell them to me.

This resource has proven to be an invaluable asset. I understand the desire of the negative reviewers to have an interactive version, but it's not rocket surgery to glean that data elsewhere. After all, Logos is, if nothing else, a powerful search tool.

Here's a suggestion for people who wish the diagrams contained interactive hyperlinks. How about setting up a workspace for working with the diagrams, in which three windows are all linked to move together: the SBLGNT text, the diagrams, and the accompanying notes to the diagrams? Then those hyperlinks you're wanting are pretty easily accessible through the Greek text window. Save the workspace under an appropriate name and you can easily bring it up whenever you need it. All that can be ported over from BibleWorks is the diagrams and notes--just the text and graphics. Other functionality is a matter of the BibleWorks software environment that doesn't transfer. It might be possible one way or another to provide similar functionality in Logos, but not without raising the production cost (and therefore the price) by a factor of probably at least 2 or 3.

Hello everyone, I found probably the answer on a Faithlife Logos forum. Allegedly, according to the forum discussions, the differences between SBL vs NA28 are in ~550 places (out of 138,000 words). I provided a link where you can read the discussions on the forum. https://community.logos.com/forums/t/93765.aspx I hope this helps.

I hear you Sergey, I was hoping for the same thing. And Randy, sort of, told that would probably not happen.

Today I purchased this product as part of a package. To be honest, I was hoping that the charts would be interactive, like in Bibleworks.

I have been using Leedy's diagrams of Colossians from the internets and I was wishing that they were available in my Logos. I was delighted to find out that I already own the entire SBLGNTSD and it looks great. Each diagram is a clear image of the diagram. The BibleWorks features are probably not applicable to the documents. (I have never used that program.)

I have used Leedy's sentence diagramming in BibleWorks for years! This is a great addition in L9 but why is Logos selling products that are not even ready to use? Sell them as pre-publications or something else. I forgot to read the small print and to my surprise this feature is not available yet.

Very excited to see this product in Logos. Randy Leedy was my Greek instructor in seminary and his notes/techniques are a valuable part of my weekly sermon preparation!
