Categories for Outlining Sermons: Finding creative categories to outline your sermon can be difficult. In this list there are over 240 categories to help you outline your sermon. Some examples of how to use the categories are the following:
Action Verb List: This list contains of over 2,300 action verbs that can be used to enhance your points within a sermon. This follows the James 1:22 principle of being a doer of the word. The "do's" and "don'ts" apply to the usage of the word to make the point. For example: The positive use of the verb makes your point read like this-"Attain peace through Christ." The negative use of the verb makes the point read like this-"Don't abuse God's grace for your life." Therefore, you can use the words that will best help you communicate God's Word for changing lives.
