Bruce Waltke is an Old Testament scholar, distinguished professor of Old Testament at Knox Theological Seminary, and professor emeritus of Old Testament studies at Regent College. He has also taught at Dallas Theological Seminary, Westminster Theological Seminary, Reformed Theological Seminary, and Regent College. He has served as president of the Evangelical Theological Society.

The commentary is very helpful. The Logos verse numbering is riddled with errors if one compares it to the printed book or looks the references up in the Biblical text. Someone with Logos could have done a much better job checking the Biblical references to make sure they are correct; simply going through the commentary on chapter 1 will make this sadly clear. If the numbering were corrected, I would give this fine commentary five stars.
