We All Belong is a celebration of the worth and value of every life, which the poet offers as a bouquet to our Creator, who holds all of creation without exception in the divine embrace. The poems in this collection are but a minute reflection of the infinite love of the Maker for humanity. The natural world alongside which we live is, in many instances, the bright patchwork quilt that surprises, with lessons to be learned, paths to be followed. The grace-filled parachute of our Maker extends an unconditional welcome to all in this created world.
“When reading Anita Hessenauer’s We All Belong, one is
overcome by an unwavering sense of hope even in our darkest hours.
These meditations offer glimpses into our struggle to define the
divine, to know what is holy. Hessenauer reminds us that ‘Beauty
and Worth / Reside in all,’ the clues revealed in nature, where
even the single webbed foot of a Canada goose, ‘Held high / Pays
tribute / To / The fallen soul.’”
