Overview

Since its full publication in 1988, this translation has become one of the most popular contemporary translations in the Middle East, known as Ketab El Hayat (NAV). The New Arabic Version is similar in its literary form to the bestselling English-language New International Version (NIV) Bible. This translation is distinguished by its use of the modern standard Arabic dialect.

Please note that there are no so-called 'Deuterocanonical' texts in this Arabic Bible, which should be noted in the description above. I bought this but it is not quite what I am looking for. It is unfortunate that Logos does not have a complete Arabic Bible of use to Arabic-reading Orthodox and Eastern Catholics.

Are the words in this Arabic Bible tagged to an Arabic lexicon so that you get pop-up definitions when hovering over individual words?

Thank you for bringing this Arabic translation. the old version ABVD was filled up with typos and errors in format. I did not read it yet but I hope it is going to be good. Thanks a lot. looking forward to other translations as well, that will be good.
