A Catholic writer imagines the answer to one of the most compelling questions people face in this world--and the next. Do animals get rewarded with eternal life? The life and death story of a mountain lion leaving his mother and brother to encounter predators and his next meal parallels the challenges of nearby humans attempting to steward both forest and wildlife. Where do their struggles lead them? When lives are lost, do animals join humans in heaven? Seen through the eyes of creatures great and small, Snarl takes the reader on an unforgettable journey where they have their eyes opened to startling new possibilities. Since the book frames our heaven shared with every willingly redeemed animal, not just those that we know and love, the author is compelled to substantiate his premise with evidence from Scripture and a mix of classic theologians. Follow this story for the possibility of our shared redemption.

Snarl is fascinating, imaginative, thought-provoking. Read it yourself and give to others.”

—Ronda Chervin, Catholic professor of philosophy and radio speaker

“Pearring offers up a tale that takes the reader to places that are at once both familiar and mysterious. A gifted wordsmith, Pearring exercises tools of imagination, intellect, and spirituality to craft a read-worthy experience of wonder and discovery. Find a comfortable place to sit, put your feet up, and enjoy the ride. You are about to be reminded why reading is such a treasure.”

—Gerald B. Derloshon, author of Little Man on Wheels: Surfing Legend Dewey

“In a time when so many species on our little planet find their very existence threatened by the failures of humans to carry out their vocation to be stewards of creation, Snarl comes along as a refreshing, thought-provoking story that carries us from the present fallen world into what the Scriptures promise as a new creation in which all things—including us—are made new.”

—Louis Grams, cofounder, Christians in Commerce
