“John would have us know, beyond any possible misunderstanding, that he was not writing his own dreams or imaginings. He was writing precisely what he had seen and heard, and nothing more. To us, the Book of Revelation is a prophecy. To John it was actual history, recorded just as he had observed it.” (Page 36)

“simply letting the divine Author of the record say what He says and assuming He says what He means.” (Page 13)

“The Apocalypse, therefore, above all else, is designed to assure us that what God has said is true. What He has promised, He will do. The Book of Revelation is real, future history as sure as Genesis is real, primeval history. Its characters are real and the events it prophesies will indeed come to pass. God will finish His work.” (Page 31)

“And, even more important, what happens when death comes? Is death the end of everything, as the humanists insist, or is it only the beginning of endless ages yet to come? If there is life after death, what will it be like, and what should we do now to prepare for it? What is the meaning and purpose of existence?” (Page 17)

“The candlesticks represented the churches, all of whom were enduring great tribulation for the testimony of Jesus Christ, but the Lord would remind them that He was still in their midst (Matthew 18:20).” (Page 41)

Hey, I am reading Henry Morris' commentary about Genesis and find it to be very useful. I am also considering purchasing and diving into this book as well. Could anyone let me know what his perspective is with respect to the millenium, the tribulation, and hermeneutical principle (how to interpret the apocalyptic genre and where to allow for symbolism?

This book by Henry M. Morris was an incredible read on the Revelation of Jesus Christ. While reading the hard-copy of this book I could not put it down. The book is laid out in such a way that even a child could understand it. It is very biblically accurate and true to the Scriptures, and yet very realistic and practical. I would recommend this book to anyone who would like to gain and deepen their understanding of the end-times, as being true to the Scriptures.
