Overview

Using the church calendar as a framework, Through the Bible Through the Year explores in 365 days the whole biblical story from creation to the end times. One of the most highly respected Bible teachers of our times, John Stott gets to the heart of each of the 365 carefully selected passages, covering every essential Christian teaching in a single volume. The readings are broken up into weekly themes, and accord with the seasons of the church year. Each devotion is based on a key passage of Scripture, and includes biblical references for further exploration.

I can’t think of anyone who has been more effective [than John Stott] in introducing so many people to a biblical world view. He represents a touchstone of authentic biblical scholarship.

—Billy Graham

Stott’s mission is to pierce through all the encrustations and share direct contact with Jesus.
