“Here is the problem. When we should be fighting the enemy, far too often we are fighting each other. We are moving toward the enemy. Get out of my way. The enemy is saying this is good. They are self-destructing. He wants to bring disunity into our ranks. He wants to sow discord among the brethren. We must resist this.” (source)

“‘The Lord is my light and my salvation. Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life. Of whom then should I be afraid.’” (source)

“It is not enough to just not do the deed. You have to nip it at the bud. Stop thinking about it. Stop wanting it. It needs to change inside. Otherwise it is only a matter of time until that thought translates into an action.” (source)

“This is an illustration of how God’s word, that would be the sword of Joshua and prayer, symbolized by Moses’ staff worked together.” (source)

“‘They said to one another, ‘We are truly guilty concerning our brother, for we saw the anguish of his soul when he pleaded with us, and we would not hear; therefore this distress has come upon us.’ ’” (source)

I expected this resource to be similar to John Courson's work. I was sadly disappointed. This sermon archive would be great if I was doing a biography on the life of Greg Laurie, but not so good for someone looking for expository sermon ideas from the Bible. I regret purchasing it.
