Digital Logos Edition
Children’s Bible teachers have the unique and challenging privilege of teaching young people the Word of God, pointing them to the glory of the savior, Jesus Christ. In this helpful commentary series, authors J. Douma and J. P. Tazelaar provide an excellent tool for those in children’s ministry, better equipping them to teach the Bible to a young audience. These two volumes—one covering the Old Testament and one the New—provide lessons which work through the main events of Scripture chronologically, in an age-appropriate way, with helpful expository thoughts that faithfully convey the riches of Scripture as understood by Reformed confessions.
The Teacher’s Bible Commentary is designed to help teachers reach children and youth in a variety of settings: in the family, church, day school, the mission field, or anywhere the Bible is being taught. Both experienced and inexperienced teachers are directed to a richer understanding of Scripture and prepared to direct their students to the grand story of redemption progressively revealed in the Bible, of salvation wrought by Christ to restore mankind to himself. Appropriate Scripture memory verses are also included for three age levels.
In the Logos editions, these valuable volumes are enhanced by amazing functionality. Scripture citations link directly to English translations, and important terms link to dictionaries, encyclopedias, and a wealth of other resources in your digital library.
