Overview

Honestly confronting topics that many Adventists would rather not talk about, Adventist Today provides an alternative publishing outlet for SDA news, information, opinion, and controversial content. Since 1993, Adventist Today has been appreciated by members who yearn for candid discussion of challenging issues. This publication takes on the hot topics usually avoided in official denominational publications and it provides a place of open dialogue. You can find features frankly discussing race-based conferences, homosexuality and the church, ordination of women, the tragedy of child abuse, and much more. These texts compile interviews, features, and commentary without regard to denominational political correctness. The content, though often controversial, is always substantive and typically solutions-oriented, representing a variety of perspectives.

Gathering content across two decades, this collection provides not only a trove of collected insights, but also an opportunity for longitudinal tracking of SDA issues during any given year. Watch the progression of SDA issues, and quickly identify the trajectory of any particular topic with Logos’ advanced search features. Additionally, Scripture citations link directly to English translations, and important terms link to dictionaries, encyclopedias, and a wealth of other resources in your digital library. You can connect articles from Adventist Today with SDA Bible commentary and scholarship, while tablet and mobile apps let you take the discussion with you. With Logos Bible Software, the most efficient and comprehensive research tools are in one place, so you get the most out of your study.
