“The balance between prayer and action has to be maintained in our life as well, but it is interesting to note the interplay between the two. A ministry of social outreach enriches our time spent at liturgy or in private prayer. And our prayer is sterile if it is detached from the needs of our neighbor and the world. As Church and as individuals we need both, while always seeing reflection on the word as our noblest endeavor.” (Volume 3, Pages 185–186)
“The gospel today reminds us that there is light at the end of the tunnel. It points to our own transfiguration.” (Volume 1, Page 66)
“To stay in Christ is to listen to his word and to be transformed into agents of good.” (Volume 2, Page 37)
“The second idea that appears clearly is the importance of obedience and trust.” (Volume 3, Page 18)
“On the third Sunday of Lent, the First Scrutiny (RCIA, 150) is celebrated.” (Volume 2, Page 79)
