Overview

After looking at the reasons for preaching in Invitation to Biblical Preaching I, Dr. J. Kent Edwards walks through the important aspects of sermon preparation. Edwards moves from exegesis to exposition, showing students how they can apply the original context of Scripture to the context of their congregations. He also covers important presentation and delivery aspects of preaching like word choices, intonation, and nonverbal signals. This course will give you the tools you need to prepare and deliver biblical sermons.

I was taught expository preaching in the seminary, have been preaching every Sunday for the last 22 years, and am very serious about my calling. I've listened closely to this course twice now and still learned a lot from it. I carefully digested his lessons and learned to improve my preaching accordingly. Pastor Edwards' teaching has been very helpful to me. I greatly appreciate it! I couldn't afford this course by myself but received it from Logos one Christmas as a free gift. Thank you, Logos. However, this is my own honest review.
