Derek Prince takes the reader outside of time and into eternity in this study of two foundational doctrines: resurrection and judgment. Prince shows how these doctrines teach that we should not focus on this life only, but embrace an eternal perspective.
Both the Bible and Jesus Christ are identified as the Word of God—the Bible as God’s written Word and Jesus as God’s personal Word. In this booklet, Derek Prince shows how our relationship to the one determines our relationship to the other, as a vibrant relationship with Jesus stirs up a hunger for the Word that reveals his character.
Jesus told his disciples that “you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect” (Matthew 5:48). At first glance, these words of Jesus seem unobtainable. But Jesus also told Paul, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my strength is made perfect in weakness” (2 Corinthians 12:9). In this book, Derek Prince points out that perfection encompasses two related aspects: maturity and completeness. Prince works through 2 Peter 1:2–7 and uncovers perfection’s building blocks, explaining how to incorporate each one into a foundation for a holy life.
Of the thousands of choices we make in life, three are particularly significant: the choice of a savior, the choice of a career, and the choice of a spouse. In this simple, yet powerful, booklet, Derek Prince focuses on this third choice and shares insight into God’s perspective on marriage.
God intended Marriage to be for life. The Choice of a Partner will help readers keep this in mind during the journey through God’s plan.
In this two-part message, Derek Prince examines the totality of Jesus’ work on the cross—and four essential steps to receiving this tremendous gift. Prince describes how Salvation is more than just a ticket to Heaven. As wonderful as that is, there is much more. Prince explains how the work of Jesus on the Cross was perfect in every way and made a great, glorious, complete salvation available to us, but the appropriating of all those benefits and blessings is an ongoing process. Discover what salvation truly is and the steps to receive and enjoy all of its amazing benefits.
Israel and the church have two closely connected—but very distinct—destinies. In this book Derek Prince clearly explains the separate identities of Israel and the church, and their roles in the most dramatic and significant developments of all human history.
The whole of Christianity hinges on a single historical event: the death of a man from Nazareth on a Roman stake. Derek Prince examines the significance of Jesus life, the mode of his death, the miracle of his resurrection, and their place in the cosmic drama that reached its climax at the cross.
At least three different baptisms are mentioned in the Bible. Derek Prince covers two of them in this booklet. He answers questions like: what are the requirements for baptism; and what new position or state do we attain, if any?
People have always been reluctant to face death. Derek Prince explains how, even though it is inevitable, death should not be feared. As Prince ponders the end of life’s journey, he exhorts Christians to look forward to the glories of the life to come.
American Christians hear very little today about spiritual warfare, despite the fact Jesus Himself said those who believe would cast out demons. International evangelist Derek Prince examines the biblical texts concerning demons, and how the spiritual forces of this present darkness are relevant to Christians in the modern Western world.
God’s love is beyond description—vast, unmeasured, boundless, and free. In this brief work, Derek Prince gives a glimpse of this love, and heartfelt wisdom on how to respond. Examining the parables of the hidden treasure and the pearl of great price, Prince shows how Jesus himself is the object of these parables and how he enables us to return his extravagant love.
Faith and works—two simple words in common use, yet clouded with misunderstanding in a religious context. In this short work, Derek Prince shows how the Bible describes the place of both in the lives of those who follow Christ, by “faith working through love.”
Judgment, the last foundational Christian doctrine, refers to God’s judgments in history as well as judgments that will confront us when we step out of time and into eternity. In a study of Paul’s letter to the Romans, Derek Prince lays out principles of God’s judgment. Exploring the distinctive aspects of four judgments described in the Bible—their who, what, and why—Derek opens Scripture and reveals the treasures hidden there.
In The First Mile, Derek Prince explores how Jesus challenged his disciples to go the extra mile. Prince then challenges modern Christians to start by going the first mile. This insightful work will encourage readers to approach life with a practical theology of discipline and work.
Scripture compares the Christian life to the construction of a building. Building on this premise, Derek Prince clearly states that the foundation determines the size and type of building that may be constructed. Our foundation is Jesus, but we must dig deeply and discard the hindrances to knowing Jesus and walking in his ways.
In this brief work, Derek Prince argues that God is putting his hand on people in preparation for the harvest. Prince shows how workers are needed. He outlines how God gives us a choice, asking us to commit ourselves to him without reservation.
Just as every Israelite leaving Egypt was immersed in a supernatural cloud, Derek Prince explains how Christians today should be immersed in the Holy Spirit. Prince explains how there are two methods for accomplishing this: the swimming pool or Niagara Falls. This booklet takes a closer look at the Niagara Falls experience and the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Derek presents seven requirements for receiving this baptism.
Derek Prince explains how man’s disappointments are often God’s appointments. In Life’s Bitter Pool, Prince explores how to discover God’s purposes in trials and how in every trial there is a godly response. Learn from the Bible how God’s people responded to disappointment—and how God, in turn, responded to them.
Care for the needy is identified as one of God’s highest priorities throughout the entire Bible. James calls it “pure and undefiled religion.” Derek Prince takes a fresh look at an issue that goes much deeper than simple social concern.
Without the nation of Israel, there would be no Bible and no Jesus. In this pamphlet, Derek Prince examines the unique role played by the Jewish people in God’s plans for the salvation of the world.
Reflecting on his experiences in academia, the military, and international evangelism, Derek Prince shares his personal search for truth as a young man and the life-changing discovery that truth takes the form of a person in Jesus Christ.
Marriage is the most rewarding and challenging of all human relationships. Derek Prince examines the components of a successful marriage—one that brings happiness and satisfaction. Prince asserts that the success of a marriage does not depend on lack of tension or problems; it depends on establishing a relationship that can overcome them. Prince explains how the key to establishing such a relationship is found in the Bible.
What would you say if you had defend your faith to a roomful of academics? In this pamphlet, originally an address to the students and faculty of the University of British Columbia, Prince argues the case for Christianity and God’s Word. Originally a philosophy scholar himself, Prince provides a charming and useful tool for fending off common criticisms of faith.
The Bible clearly teaches that there is great power in the words we speak. In this powerful book, Derek Prince outlines seven ways the blood of Jesus impacts our lives. When we respond responsibly, we can use Scripture as Moses used his rod: to extend God’s authority into every area where Satan opposes the purposes of God.
Derek Prince argues that one of the most basic mandates for Christian prayer is to pray “for kings and all who are in authority.” Prince calls on readers to renew this commitment in this age, explaining how prayer empowers those who are weak in this world to have an impact for God’s plan for the nations.
According to Derek Prince, the resurrection of the body is the first of the foundational doctrines that takes us out of the realm of time and into eternity. Prince outlines how, according to the Bible, Jesus’ resurrection was the first fruits, and those who are Christ’s will also be raised.

In The Three Most Powerful Words, Derek Prince explains how unforgiveness can be a barrier to freedom, health, and blessing. Pastor Derek Prince outlines how, as a person comes to faith in Christ, four elements are required: confrontation, revelation, acknowledgment, and confession. Prince explains how if we have never laid that foundation, we can never erect the building that is our life in Christ. Once we have laid the foundation, we can go on to complete the building.
In Transmitting God’s Power, Derek Prince argues that Hebrews 6:1–2 presents the basic tenets of the Christian faith—the fifth of which is “laying on of hands.” Prince explains that by it, we may transmit God’s healing, power, blessing, and authority, and commission someone for service by recognizing and endorsing God’s blessing.

According to Derek Prince, the calling to intercession is one of the highest and most powerful ministries open to any believer. It requires boldness and conviction, as the intercessor comes “in between” God and the object of his righteous wrath. Prince exhorts believers to answer this calling and implore God for his grace and mercy.
