Overview

Begin your investigation of Genesis with a massive, all-encompassing library of Bible studies, commentaries, and monographs delving into every issue and topic in the Bible’s first book. Featuring original studies, extensive pastoral, devotional, exegetical, and theological commentaries, and perspectives from Jewish and Christian commentators, this collection covers every verse and background issue relating to Genesis. Was the earth created in six days? What can Genesis teach us about original sin? How does morality figure into God’s command for Abraham’s sacrifice? Did Moses author the first three chapters of Genesis? These questions and more are extensively covered and treated by dozens of authors.

Get trusted insight when you study Genesis through renowned commentaries such as the volumes from Two Horizons, the Continental Commentaries, the International Critical Commentary, the JPS Torah Commentary, and many, many more. Classic authors, such as Robert Candlish, John Calvin, John Nelson Darby, and Hermann Gunkel take you back in time to see how Genesis has been treated in the past—and ancient homilies and commentaries from Augustine, Origin, and Chrysostom bring you the early church’s understanding of this ancient Jewish creation story.

Using Logos Bible Software, you’ll see these volumes throughout your biblical studies. Your Passage and Sermon Starter Guides will overflow with information on Genesis—so Logos allows you to sort your volumes into collections based on interpretative perspective, era, or methodology to help focus your research. Break apart the logical flow of Hebrew using the English-Hebrew grammars, dictionaries, and wordbooks in your library—and of course, the interlinear tools give you access to a wealth of word-by-word information. Take all 125 volumes with you on the road—these volumes fit easily onto mobile tablets, phones, and laptops, so you’ll never forget your books at home.

God created teh heaven and the earth in six days... how do we know this.. He told us. For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it. - Exodus 20:11

yes kevin.. as a matter of fact when adam was "created", he was just like any one day old baby... it was S.O.F. as found and taught by the master Darwin that is the reason that he survived to become all grown up.. Imagine thinking that he was created a full grown man.. how ridiculous is that ... someday they will all see the light , am I right??
