Teach Us to Pray contains a detailed analysis of the biblical theology of prayer, a survey of spirituality in various religions, and lessons in prayer from the worldwide church concluded with personal insights from some key leaders. Worship: Adoration and Action avoids a merely mechanical and pragmatic approach to worship and instead covers the biblical and systematic theology of worship, the heritage of the Reformers, and contemporary free church worship.

Originally written for the World Evangelical Fellowship’s Theological Commission, these were the products of international consultations that brought together evangelical leaders from various parts of the world. Editor D.A. Carson has remarked that considerable unity was achieved as the essays written for these volumes came together.

D.A. Carson is one of the most renowned New Testament scholars in the world. A respected teacher, author, and speaker, he is currently research professor of New Testament at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, and the president of The Gospel Coalition.
