Nigel Scotland studied at McGill and Bristol Universities, and earned a PhD in church history at the University of Aberdeen. He taught church history at the University of Gloucestershire for many years, and currently lectures in theology at Bristol Baptist College and Trinity College Bristol. Nigel is the author of more than a dozen books including Apostles of the Spirit and Fire: American Revivalists, Victorian Britain, and Christianity outside the Box.
