Overview

Learn from New Testament and Pauline studies expert Dr. Lynn Cohick as she guides you through each chapter and theological concept in Ephesians, including salvation, the Trinity, and the church. She devotes additional time to exploring God’s vision for marriage, and the institution of slavery. She also explains various interpretive theories—like the new perspective on Paul—and how these theories compare with traditional ideas.

Dr. Cohick’s goal is for you to become better equipped to read the rest of Paul’s letters and more confident in reading the Bible as a whole by better understanding the theology, history, and interpretive possibilities of Paul’s Letter to the Ephesians, and for you to grow in your faith each step of the way.

For a collection of focused courses that will deepen your familiarity with Paul’s prodigious New Testament writing, see the Mobile Ed: Paul’s Letters Bundle (7 courses).

Why is it that when I downloaded this course I did not receive NT343 Book Study: Paul’s Letter to the Ephesians (Activities)?

Dr. Lynn Cohick is a respected New Testament and Pauline studies expert who guides through each chapter and theological concept in Ephesians. She focuses on the rich Trinitarian language, and also take a look at how Paul conceives of the church —that is his ecclesiology, his study of the the church. The course explores in detail what the believer is, who the believer is in Christ, and how believers together make up the body of Christ. This also includes, as well, the household codes and concepts like marriage, slavery etc. The course also takes a look at what the New Perspective on Paul and how that compares and contrasts with more traditional perspectives or interpretations. The course really highlights the glorious truths from the book of Ephesians for its readers. Highly recommended!
