Walter A. Elwell has been professor of Bible and theology at Wheaton College since 1975. He did graduate work in New Testament and early Christian history at Tubington University in Germany and the University of Chicago. His doctoral work was done at New College, University of Edinburgh, Scotland. Dr. Elwell’s major research interest is the study of the Gospels.
