Complete Word Study KJV is a King James Version Bible text made by combining the text of the Complete Word Study OT and Complete Word Study NT. Every Hebrew and Greek word is represented in the English text by a Strong’s Dictionary number and/or grammatical code. The grammatical codes link to the grammatical notations which explain the syntax of the original language word. Strong’s numbers on the NT text link to the matching entry of the Complete Word Study Dictionary: NT.
Documents with additional items have additional indexes; for example, Spiros Zodhiates’ Complete Word Study KJV document has indexes for Keywords, OT Strong’s numbers, NT Strong’s numbers, Hebrew grammatical codes, Aramaic grammatical codes, and Greek grammatical codes.

The New American Standard Bible, long considered a favorite study Bible by serious students of the Scriptures, has been completely revised and updated in this new 1995 translation. Preserving the Lockman Foundation’s standard of creating a literal translation of the original Greek, Hebrew, and Aramaic manuscripts, the 1995 NASB provides a literal translation that is very readable. Formalized language and outdated words and phrases have been replaced with their contemporary counterparts. In short, the 1995 NASB is a Bible translation that is very conducive to word-by-word study and is also able to be read (and understood) by the whole family.
The NASB is an excellent translation that seeks the closest possible verbal equivalency.
—Dr. R. C. Sproul
I want to know God’s Word in the deepest and richest ways possible. I use the Updated NASB for all my personal study, since it is so close to the original text.
—Joseph Stowell, President, Moody Bible Institute

Many of the most picturesque images of Jesus Christ are those that are found—sometimes seemingly buried—in the Old Testament. Jesus emphasized this point with two of His disciples as they walked and talked together on the road to Emmaus. “Beginning at Moses and all the prophets, He expounded unto them in all the Scriptures the things concerning Himself” (Luke 24:27).
Using this teaching model of Jesus Himself, Charles Spurgeon, the “prince of preachers,” here offers 60 studies revealing Jesus Christ in the teachings, testimonies, and types of the Old Testament. These are organized into three groups: the historical group, in which Christ is compared to key historical figures of the Old Testament; the ceremonial group, in which Christ is proven to be the fulfillment of Old Testament ceremonies and rituals; and the prophetical group, in which Christ is magnified as the promised Messiah.
Drawing on the clear and direct revelation of the New Testament, Spurgeon uncovers the thorough and systematic way in which the life and ministry of Christ fulfills His integral and eternal role in the redemptive plan of God.
Charles H. Spurgeon was a British Particular Baptist preacher who continues to be highly influential among Christians of different denominations. In addition to his regular duties, he founded Sunday schools, churches, an orphanage, and the Pastor’s College.

This collection of sermons focuses on Old Testament characters such as: Adam, Job, Abraham, Hagar, Jacob, Rebekah, Joseph, Joshua, Rahab, Ruth, Hannah, Samuel, David, Esther, Isaiah, and Nehemiah.

Scattered throughout the New Testament are accounts of both men and women who either embraced Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior or rejected Him altogether. Here are thirty-eight classic sermons by Charles Spurgeon, “the prince of preachers,” on male and female characters of the New Testament. Both unnamed characters (The Woman of Samaria, The Women of Canaan, Pilate’s Wife, etc.) as well as prominent characters (John the Baptist, Mary the Mother of Jesus, Paul, Timothy, etc.) make up the subject matter of this noteworthy collection of sermons.

This study is one of the most extended expository works on that much neglected, though eminently practical, book of James. Dr. Zodhiates spent three years studying the book of James, and it changed his life dramatically. He brings from the depths of thought of the Greek text of James the immense spiritual wealth of this life-changing epistle. Dr. Zodhiates does this in such a way that the result will be useful both for the preacher and the general Christian reader and worker.

Alexander MacLaren’s Sermons for All Seasons is a compilation of fifty-two scholarly, insightful sermons. Originally published in two volumes entitled A Year’s Ministry, these sermons demonstrate MacLaren’s years of experience in ministry; his precise, scholarly approach to the study of Scripture; and the eloquence of this famed expositor and orator.
MacLaren’s sermons will undoubtedly touch you in much the same way as they touched the lives of his congregation a century ago.
Alexander MacLaren was a Baptist minister. He ministered successfully at Portland Chapel, Southampton, and Union Chapel, Manchester. His sermons drew vast congregations and his methods of subdivision and analogies drawn from nature and life have been widely imitated ever since. In the pulpit he expounded evangelical certainties, yet his writings and private conversations show him prepared to accept a critical position. MacLaren was twice president of the Baptist Union and chairman of its Twentieth Century Fund and the first president of the Baptist World Alliance.
Also known as the “King James Version", the Authorized Version of the Bible is still the most widely used text in the English language. The Logos KJV includes the Strong’s Numbers which allow English readers to identify and search for underlying Greek and Hebrew words in the original language.
Strong’s Numbers with Brown, Driver, Briggs and Thayer lexicons allows English readers to identify and search for underlying Greek and Hebrew words in the original text. Definitions are found in Strong’s Expanded Dictionary which is based on the Thayer and Brown, Driver, Briggs lexicons.
These indexes list most of the English words used in the King James Version of the Bible, along with their various forms and endings. Following the English word in each entry are the Strong’s numbers for all the Hebrew or Greek words that English word represents in this translation. The scripture references (in italics) given for certain entries list each verse where that English word occurs. Finally, cross references inform the reader to see other words related to the current entry, to note different proper names with the same Strong’s number, and to look under a different entry to find a certain word.
