Euan McGregor Fry was ordained in the Methodist church in 1963 and served as secretary of the Australian Bible Society from 1967–1988. He served in the Philippines for over 37 years in the United Church of Christ and as a professor at Union Christian College. From 1968–1992 he was a consultant for the United Bible Societies, supervising the translation of the Bible into several major languages of the Philippines. In 1993, he was named an Honorary Life Member of the American Bible Society.
