Myer Pearlman was a scholar of Jewish descent. At the age of fourteen he graduated as a French interpreter and worked as a translator for the United States Army during World War II in France. In 1915 he immigrated to New York, where he had a conversion experience and converted to Christianity. In 1927 he graduated from a Bible institute in Springfield, Missouri, and that same year he joined the faculty. In 1927, he married Irene Graves. Pearlman was a great theologian who dedicated part of his life to teaching and left a powerful legacy in his writings.
