The International Standard Version embodies the best results of modern scholarship as to the meaning of Scripture, and expresses this meaning in clear and natural English. The arrival of the International Standard Version has solved a longstanding problem for me. For years I have had two Bibles, one for study and one for public use, such as speaking.
