John Phillips (1927-2010) served as assistant director of the Moody Correspondence School as well as director of the Emmaus Correspondence School, one of the world's largest Bible correspondence ministries.     Normally I like books by John Phillips! What I don't like about this book is that there is NO table of contents at the beginning of this book. You scroll down to chapter 1 to find the name of the character. Then you must scroll down a number of pages to learn who is the 2nd character. Then you have to keep scrolling to "hunt down" each chapter to learn who is the character Phillips teaches about! How is one supposed to know what content is in a book without a Table of Contents? I DO NOT recommend buying either the OT or NT Bible Character Books! I bought them on prepub but I'm going to contact Logos about returning them when they open next week!
