Certain books in a print library are organized by topic. A Bible dictionary is a great example; open one up and you will see a topic heading like Jerusalem followed by an article discussing the history and significance of Jerusalem.

Logos makes it easy to find information in these kinds of books, by doing the work for you! When you enter your passage and click "Go!" (remember, that's all the work you've had to do up to this point), Passage Guide identifies all the Topics in your passage and presents you with a concise list.

All you have to do is scan the bulleted list of topics generated by Passage Guide and pick one you're interested in. It really is that easy!

Notice that Passage Guide has suggested some topics you might not have thought to look up on your own...and others that might be in one dictionary but not another. With print books, you'd have to open up each of your dictionaries and see if it had an entry for every topic you could think of in the passage. Look how much work you've saved and how much deeper your study will be!

Let's take a look at the topic Perseverance, for example. One click and Passage Guide expands to show the list of books in your library that have an article on Perseverance.

Simply expand a topic to view books with articles on that topic

Click a title in the list to immediately open a Bible dictionary and there's the article on Perseverance—ready for you to read and study.

Imagine how much time and effort it would take you to look up all these topics in print books, but with Logos Bible Software it's done in mere seconds with two clicks of the mouse!
